INLINE recently completed Phase 1 of the Annastasia Salon in Portland. The salon was in need of a large remodel to their existing space and worked with INLINE to break the project into two phases in order to keep the stylists’ workstations open. This first phase included a remodel to the back half of the shop, which expanded the area to include (11) new stations vs. the previous (4). Work also included updating the cabinets, chairs, flooring, paint, and ceilings to a more modern and sleek look.

PORTLAND PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Restore eight classrooms at Harrison Park School
Over the weekend of September 11-13th, Portland Public Schools called INLINE to help restore eight classrooms at Harrison Park School that were damaged by a fire. Out of the eight classrooms, six were damaged by smoke. Before the beginning of the restoration process, INLINE removed all of the furniture, including desks, chairs, white boards, and cork boards. Then the process to mend these rooms began. INLINE painted all of the walls, replaced the ceiling tiles, cleaned both the floors and furniture and reattached the boards. Two of the classrooms required more work than the previous six as they were destroyed by the fire. INLINE rebuilt the classrooms by equipping them with new framing, sheetrock, paint, flooring, grid ceilings, mechanical, plumbing and casework. INLINE would like to thank employees Richard Thoen, Barry Lazott, Dave Dorval, Ramiro Sanchez, Dave Vance, Josh Stevens, and Rob Winsley; and subcontractors Mike Crenshaw from Floor Factors and Kim Tingley from W.E. Given for their efficient and diligent efforts in completing this project over the weekend.
The weather held up perfectly with an overcast but breezy day. There was face painting, give-aways, potato sack races, and a friendly softball game. Famous Dave’s catered the event and everyone chowed down on pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, brisket, cornbread muffins and more. INLINE is a truly privileged company to have such a great group of workers that come together with their families and can enjoy a Saturday out with fellow employees.â€
We had our first annual Safety Week Luncheon Tuesday May 5th!
Vendors, subcontractors and clients joined the INLINE crew for a Cinco de Mayo spread and learned about product lines from Hilti, ACME, Star Rentals, and Metro Fire & Safety. Metro even brought a fun activity – turn off a sprinkler with a Shutgun! We also had some lucky raffle prize winners who walked off with everything from gloves to a drone!
BUILDING ON A DIVERSE PARTNERSHIPS
“Building a brand new Key branch is much more than creating financial opportunities,” says Mark Phillips, Corporate Real Estate Solution Construction Manager. “It’s also about building lasting relationships with our clients, communities, vendors and employees.” When lining up the vendors that will actually construct our branches or any construction project much thought goes into now only how the project is built but also who is engaged in bringing the project to life.
INLINE Commercial Construction Inc. was recently selected for the Bainbridge Island project in Washington. INLINE is a diverse, family owned company based in Aloha, Ore. INLINE has worked with KeyBank for the past seven years on over fifty KeyBank projects.
Remarking about their relationship with KeyBank, INLINE founder and CEO Dave Flint commented, “KeyBank has been not only a great client, but a valued partner to INLINE. Our work with KeyBank has been a very rewarding experience. From maintenance projects to construction of new turnkey banks, the communication and follow-through from the team has shown a successful track record that proves how solid the relationship is. KeyBank has also proven to be a premier partner in all aspects of banking. INLINE is truly honored to continue to grow our relationship and expand our capacities in every manner.”
INLINE was chosen for the Bainbridge Island project not only on bid results but because of their history of top notch execution and performance. Like any truly mutually beneficial relationship, challenges are faced as a team. The strong, long-term partnership between Key and INLINE has resulted in shorter deliveries, higher product quality and lower cost.
“Based on the results of our new LEED certified branch in the Eugene market, INLINE understands our needs,” says John Nolting, Senior Vice President/RSL, Oregon & Alaska. “INLINE not only won the business but earned the right for more business.”
“Corporate Real Estate Solutions is dedicated to creating value not only in the projects we build but the relationships we maintain with our clients and vendors,” says Kane Kretzinger, Director, Corporate Real Estate Solutions. “This is a great example of a team coming together to create a mutually beneficial relationship.”
